I’ve been a great mother AND I made some huge mistakes in raising my children. I watched helplessly as my daughter repeated some of my struggles which led to emotional eating and weight gain. This caused me sadness, pain, shame, guilt, and embarrassment. As one of the co-authors of the Amazon #1 Bestseller Unchain My Legacy, I wrote about the emotional debt that I inherited and in turn passed on to my daughter. In my Healthy Relationships workshops, I share knowledge and strategies that help transform minds, lives, and relationships. I incorporate my clinical knowledge As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, my primary purpose is to facilitate healing in mother/daughter relationships, which is evident in my private practice working with teen and their mothers. I am the creator of TEEN Talk LIVE, a weekly talk show on Facebook where I engage guests in topics related to teen triumphs and challenges.
